I never knew this,i thought it was made for viv campbell to go in his les paul? anyway this is a great video of seymour in 4 parts. he mentions his work with EVH as well as others

the background music is seymour playing a gibson SG with antiquity PAF's and it sounds great! got to try a set of them soon.

I love the pic of Allen Holdsworth, Eddie and Seymour and him jamming with Jaco! It is interesting that he made the FS for Nancy.

All 4 parts of this interview are great and i like the tone seymour gets on the backing music. nice to know the guy that makes the pups can play his ass off as well as wind a pup

I remember that it was made for Nancy, but lots of others dropped them in. I don't remember it ever being portrayed as Vivian's pup, other than being in the Nightswan.

Just classic errornet for you..we knew better before the web came about.

with viv it just happend to be the main pup he talked about in his interviews all the the time and he was the only pro that ever even mentioned the FS so i guess i assumed it was made for him never knew nancy was using one she never mentioned it in gear interviews kind of like the CC is tied to VH even though i never heard him mention that duncan at all?

I cant wait to check the vids! Never knew this.. Odd name then as Nancy is not really a shredder. Also be cool to see Mr D ripping. Ive always heard his is a monster player..

I prefer '80s Nancy Wilson. If you look at the last picture, you can see a Duncan in her guitar. I had an earlier Full Shred (ca. '92 or so), they used to come with chrome poles instead of black.

Well, maybe the name came much after the original was wound. Like the Distortion neck which was called Seymourizer before and like the interview explains the Jazz was called JM at first. So maybe when shredders got into it the pickup was given that name.
