The Gen Z chicks are just goofy, though.
15 years ago or however long ago, my generation was the stupid goofy generation and it absolutely happened to you when yours was the youngest. It’s still as untrue as ever. Anyone can find the absolute worst examples of a person from any generation. It never changes.
You know, this is one of the reasons I am so f*cking pissed off and cut up that my Dad checked out early. He remembered what it was like to be the “stupid know nothing kid.” Everyone could feel it. He wasn’t the typical lame parent that cramped your style. He just commanded respect from any room he walked into. My friends loved him and thought he was an awesome badass and they were right.
He was a professional champion motorcycle racer, active musician in the 70s with members who are now famous (Bon Scott, around the Fraternity days, Geoff Stapleton before Ganggajang.) He was in an actual proto-metal band in the 70s before it was really a things besides Sabbath (I got their reel to reel demo digitised and it’s insane what they were doing back then.)
Does any of this have a point? Probably not, it’s not even on topic, what even is the topic? I’m a bit drunk, emotional, still grieving after 10 years and my point is whether you’re a lame, boomer sell out is a matter of attitude. Just remember, your generation was the “stupid, goofy, head stuck in (insert contemporary technology here,) don’t you forget it!
Also my Dad was awesome and I’ll never get over it that I couldn’t save him. The rest of my family are such reprehensible ingrates, I’m the only one he called before he checked out.
Or something about analog boobs? Kill me..
