i've started to notice the JB is rather compressed. I guess i've always thought it wasn't too compressed because in comparison to pickups like the invader distortion etc. its way less compressed. Now i know i could never use the distortion again i remember it having NO dynamics compared to the JB. Anyone know a pickup with similar complexity and tone as the JB that is less compressed
maybe lower impedance?

This idea has been kicked around on here alot lately. It sounds like quite a few people would be onboard for a "lite" version of a JB. On paper it sounds like a great idea.
