The Jeffery note of bliss

Re: The Jeffery note of bliss

I think you're the only one who has a smooth, raw tone..if that makes sense :smack: :D

Tasty!!

Re: The Jeffery note of bliss

;)
Thanks, it was just my old Tokai, now using those J-100 Jackson singles...it is back to sss again now, Pierre saved my behind by having one more of those nice singles.

Re: The Jeffery note of bliss

Now if THAT isn't a tune to have sex to, I don't know what is--except of course side one of Led Zeppelin IV (for those of you who don't get that, rent "Fast Times At Ridgemont High").

Those are all singles, huh? What amp is that man, and pedals too. The sound really is just right. Just enough distortion, not too clean--damn, that was fine, lol. Might be my favorite thing I've heard you do yet. Every note IMHO just seemed perfect.

Re: The Jeffery note of bliss

Thanks...well nothing special, a slightly modded Marshall DRP-1 preamp, used a CM comp, into a Combinator, where I used my beloved AMT Dist-Machine set on a Marshall setting, just a classic setting, then I looped my Red Repeat delay in as well.
The singles are old Jackson J-100 singles:)

The old Beckish...

Sounded great. Really tasty tones (all of them!). The clean one is especially good. tasty playing.

Re: The Jeffery note of bliss

Wow! This is pure Beck. You've totally captured it, Rid. I'm impressed and jealous. What Tokai model is that?

Still listening...man, what tones!

Re: The Jeffery note of bliss

Thanks Keith, an old used to be black ST-80 Tokai from 1984 with a rosewood neck:)
Alder body and a big onepiece Tokai mapleneck from another ST-80 I had, it is lend out to a buddy of mine, (a permanent one it seems:D ) it is the most beatup strat I ever have had, it has survived 4 repaints, one Floyd Rose attack, and countless pickup changes...the Jacksons are staying!
Those are the singles that has suited the guitar the best.

Ah, so this isn't going into a mic'd amp, but rather it's going directly into the computer?
