the Marshall dsl5c

Re: the Marshall dsl5c

Seems boxy to me from what I have heard. In a bigger cabinet, it would probably sound cool, but it IS only 5 watts.

Re: the Marshall dsl5c

It's definitely not as good as the SL-5, but it's also cheaper. It would have really would have been better with a 12" speaker in it

Re: the Marshall dsl5c

the sl5 can be very loud too and if you want a good sound you must play at 4-5 and it will be loud at home
12" too

i really don't like the sound so, a heavy metal sound can be good too

my Laney lc 15 is 10" and it's not a problem for a bedroom
but 15w is too much
5w will be better but in fact , it depends on the master volume

The positive aspect is that the sl5 can be played at a low volume at home
or with pedals but that's the only thing i like except the reverb and the speaker Celestion vintage 30

i tried it
good dynamic
very good clean tones

this amp is very good with low mIDS for heavy metal
not enough trebles sometimes
only 10" but ok
