THE MULE, first movement (symphonic folk work in progress)

Started working in earnest on the symphonic folk album today. This is the first movement. Acoustic guitars are an Ovation Legend. All orchestral bits are a Roland JV-1080.

Thanks! It is pretty much improvised!
I wrote and recorded it in approximately 4 hours.

Very cool.. I like the build up! Lots of epic sounding synth stuff ..it's bit Wakeman-ish...but the lead-in also reminds me a little of Rush's Caress of Steel (One of my fave Rush albums!)

Thanks! That four-note figure in the intro guitar was difficult to keep up for so long. Many, many takes... lol
