Recently came in to possession of a "trashcaster". You've seen the photos, here's what it sounds like, through my Picovalve into a 1x12 open back cab with a C-Rex. Twin Pedal setup. (No not Fender) Thinking of putting Lace Golds in it if the price is right. But even as is...

This wouldn't be the first time that I've had issues linking a video. I'll look into it after I've had coffee.

Looks like YouTube is having issues all over atm. I'll check back later and see if I can get anything to work.

So, YouTube will play videos on my phone, but not my laptop? Wtf?

I was expecting Elimination or Years of Decay.
It's a good one, glad you enjoy it.
My buddy Chris knows those tunes. I should pay more attention the next time he plays them.
I'm just happy that the video link works.

Let me know when he's over. I'll pop by with a two four, it's been a long long time for me. Could use a run through myself.

Sounds pretty good for an affinity Squier. The clean tones were nice, the dirty tones a bit harsh. I'll bet some nice pickups would smooth it out. A bunch of pickups including laces are on sale on MF right now. I've been considering picking up a cheap Squier used for a project to learn fretwork etc.

Thanks for giving a listen!,
I may eventually get a set from e-bay. Being a metal head at heart, I don't really mind harsh dirty tones. Especially considering the fact that I got the guitar for free. To me the most pressing issue is the fret ends, And for that I just keep working on them with different grades of sandpaper. I started with 400, then 600, next will be 800 and have actually noticed some improvement.
