Hey, nice work!
I just discovered them today, and I like they way they look, which is weird because I have never been a fan of single tube lipstick pickups (aesthetically speaking). Come to think of it, I cannot recall ever playing any.
Maybe you guys could give some feedback for somebody who might judge a pickup by its cover so to speak. (The Dual Tube Lipstick humbuckers look super smooth)
On the website I did not see anything listing their output, so I'd be grateful for that info.

Double coil lipstick tube pickups share most of the same weaknesses as their single coil siblings. The main advantages are higher output, fuller frequency response and better noise rejection. Otherwise they are still weak and their frequency range isn't as wide as other designs.

Bumping, I'm interested in this topic. A local luthier who I have a lot of respect for just started building guitars and they all have these style of pups in them. I'm a humbucker guy (mostly) but I may grab one of this builder's guitars at some point, if I ever have money again.

I have always loved the look of lipsticks, and the humbucker is no exception. The sound of a single is pretty shrill IMO. I would really, really like to hear the humbuckers. How do they compare to something like filtertrons?

I too am curious about the sound of these Liptstick Tube Humbuckers.
I also have my eye on the Surf Antiquities. Perhaps it might be possible to make a humbucker version.
Right now I have Phat Cats and I like them but I want to try more.
Too bad there is not a pickup comparison chart.
Basically, select one pickup, and then select another pickup and the database will tell you the differences between the two.
