I've never really liked LP's from gibson but this LP made me change m y mind.

eeeehh... not the best birdseye top if you ask me.

I like it on the necks but not for tops. Even the good ones I don't really care for. I saw an Epi LP birdseye that had a nice top but the garish color made it look like an orange with humbuckers. :laugh2:

I like it, but birdseye maple does look a little funny on tops, compared to how it looks on necks. I'd love to have a black standard with a birdseye maple fretboard.
Gibson only made maple fretboard LP's one year....78 I believe.
