I think they sound amazing, but as I said, it is hand-wired in the Mesa Boogie factory and designed by Randell Smith himself. Of course, they sound killer.

At that price, there is a lot of competition, including many amps made in the same factory. If I was going to spend that much on an amp, I doubt it would be a Gibson.

Not a fan based on that video.

Certainly not my styles whatsoever, and the distortion sounds like crap ha ha ha I don't like to bash on things (except Fendurr of course,) but that sounded terrible, to me anyhow

this amp is 100% not aimed at the metal crowd. not surprised you dont like it, furry and loose

It is not my style either. If I got it it would be a novelty thing like my Excelsior. But I paid $299 for the Excelsior, what Gibson is asking is too rich for my blood for a novelty.

I'm sure it's a stencil amp and you can find the same PCB circuit in amps by other manufacturers. I doubt there's much similarity to an original Falcon. Although to be fair to Gibson they didn't have much standardization in their old amps so it's hard to nail down a definitive circuit.
