....for a great set of pups for my LP Classic. I did the original 500T/498R, Custom, C5, Demon, APIIn, and after much fiddlin' around, it's JB/Jazz. I'm wanting my LP to sort of be the "versatile" guitar in my collection, and I think the JB/Jazz does it. This combo goes from Jazz to Jammin'. What more could a boy want? Also, when played together, these two were made for each other. Great cleans!

I should've just listened to Seymour in the first place :)

the Jazz sounds a little too bright (no, well, a lot too bright) for any Jazz. In fact, it has no business being called a jazz pickup. THe APH2 is much more suited to jazz playing, but I don't know if Seymour makes any 'real jazz' pickups. I hated the Jazz for playing jazz.

I really did like the APH2. Sort of a sugary sweet tone. I'm gonna keep it around, just in case.
