Much heavier and more powerful.

It's a real fat b****** of a pickup.

What kind of thing do you play..?

I play heavy stuff, but a variety of styles. Thrash and black metal but doom as well.

A Slug will do that, NO problem.

The EQ will be something that is personal to you and the low-mids might be something you'd need to dial down - or not, it's what YOU like.

I'd recommend it - I've put mine in a bass and that was one of those 'best decision ever' moments.

Currently, getting the parts to build a bass around it.

I’m really just looking to have it as a flavor to use...but I’m worried about it having a tone that is too dark. I usually like more of a hot crunch with lots of mids highs and presence.
