To follow up on our unfinished conversation of the other day, what would be the top 5 concerts you would want to see all time, if you had a time machine. In order.

Considering the time machine, I would probably have to say in order:

5 - Dave Matthews live in Central Park : The amount of musical talent on that stage is pure awesome.

4 - Iron Maiden live in Rio : The Rock in Rio concert is just to huge to pass up to be honest!

3 - Pink Floyd live 'anywhere' : A massive contender with the Beatles, honestly it doesn't matter where they are, as long as everyone is there: Wright, Waters, Gilmour, Mason and yes...ever Sid Barrett

2 - The Beatles live in San Fransisco : We're talking about history here! Need I say more...

1 - Woodstock : As cliche as it may sound, and I'm confident many of your will agree, Woodstock would probably be the most epic music show ever!

what's your reason for choosing bass over other instruments?

If you could own one instrument in the world (be it fictional, no longer made, etc) what would it be?

I chose bass for a few different reasons. First of all, I'm a pretty big guy and so the size of the instrument to me had a bit to do with the choice. Secondly, I love the supporting roll which a bass provides in a band context. My goals were in the end to be able to gig with people and we all know guitarists (not necessarily good ones) are a dime a dozen while bassists are few and far apart. The last and most important reason behind my choice is basically this : has anyone ever seen a room full of beautiful women dancin' and groovin' to a guy sitting on stage with a 6 string acoustic before? (Just kidding guys )

As far the bass of choice would be concerned, I think that without any hesitation whatsoever it would have to be James Jamerson's 'The Funk Machine'. That instrument right there is the beginning...

I would have to go with polar bear. I love the cold, I love winter, I love the water and I'm big and as white as you get. Come to think of it, this seems to describe me perfectly!

I did, was gonna take a few screen shots when I got it installed! Honestly I'm impressed, I was expecting a 2D game with 16bit pixels!!

Man talk about a small question. Honestly, I wouldn't know what to tell you, if I can die with the feeling that in the end, I don't regret my life then I think I will die a happy man. I might get back to you with a more thorough answer later on...

+1 for Jamerson's Funk Machine. I'd play it on mission-critical work only (recordings, TV/film, etc.), not the bar band scene.

Let's say company X came up to you and said, "We want to make your signature bass. Any feature you desire, in whatever materials you choose." Describe that instrument.
