Shay and I met on animeforum.com. I said hello and did the whole welcoming committee think on his intro thread, laughing at his affinity for pedobear. We really started to hit it off when he started the AF Community Music Project, and we now chat about ten hours a night.
As far as what I play, there hasn't been an instrument devised that I can't get at least some rudimentary tune out of, but my forté comes in with piano, guitar, and computer-generated awesomeness.

That's for others to decide, though I tend to like the fact that I don't get hung up on things, and I'm a pretty open person. I don't get offended too easily, and when I do, I seem to be liked enough to inadvertantly have my honour defended.

I was pretty happy when I met RaShay. And I was pretty happy when after 24 posts and two and a half days on SD, I got asked to do the Well. I actually had to ask what it was. XD
I think I was most sad when my sister died. It was very tragic and there was really nothing anyone could do.

I used to be pretty big on DDR, and actually held a few records at some local arcades, but now it's all about the Rock Band Unplugged. PSP ftw.

As far as politics go, and assuming I had to affiliate myself in one way or another, I would tell you that I am a liberal leftist. However, I'm more the true neutral type who decides on issues as they come up. Religiously, I belong to a small group. I am a Danthean. Very old, very close-knit.

I'm in Afghanistan at the moment, but I've lived in Kentucky for a few years.
Hentai is pretty much hit or miss. I'm not a big fan of animated hentai, but I love H-games. Dating sims and all that fun stuff.

Midori no Hibi, or possibly The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzimiya. Something cute, romantic, easy to attach to. Don't bust out with Higurashi on a first encounter. I have a Masters of Science in Anatomy and Physiology.
I was born in the Hirano Ward in Osaka, Japan. Moved to the US at a young age.
I am an American Soldier. I am a warrior and a member of a team. Blah, blah, etc.
I would like to skin the chief of Pokke Village and make a hat out of her.
I made the Vine Grove run in just under three minutes in a 1990 FC3S. Until then, the record had been just under five. Vine Grove never had any drifters until moi.
I have two confirmed kills. They don't allow women in combat MOSs, but they **** sure don't have a problem sending your ass outside the wire.

This of course lends to a religious debate, which I will ignore for the purposes of this question, but it helps to know that someone had to be there first. The rents are pretty traditional people. As such, they have developed a sort of stability in their lives that I can only dream of. I'd like to be stable when I'm older and ready to settle in.

Two years later I met his sister, and we hit it off in a big way. Some of my fondest memories of childhood are of playing games and music with her, and running around shopping and all that girly stuff.
Forgive my abstract response here, but I didn't really know myself five years ago, and I hated it. It's only been in the last couple of years that I've really started to come into myself as a person, and I like who I am now, and who I'm becoming.
Five years ago, as some know, was a dark time for me. But there was always the occassional ray of light that peeked through the darkness, and one of these rays of light was my aunt. She and I were the best of friends (as she was only two years older than me). Unfortunately, we had a very strong falling out and I no longer associate with her. I wish she were still around.
Five years into the future will be a magical time for me. I will be out of the Army at the end of 2013, and will immediately be enrolling at Full Sail University in Florida. I hope to obtain a MS in Game Development and work for a good gaming company, or perhaps even start my own.
I can't imagine what money's going to be like in five years. x____x
