Hey guys, I think I've settled on getting an Antiquity for the neck and a Seth Lover for the bridge but I was wondering if Antiquities and Seth lovers take overdrive well and distortion well. Do they sound brash with these things or what? Id like to know before i plunked out my hard earned money haha :yell:
thanks guys

i think they sound fantastic. i use both seths and antiquitys and i like the dirty sound as much or more than the clean.

they wouldnt be my first recomandation for death metal though

They have tone, first and foremost, so if you put them on any type of amp, they'll sound great. I was actually surprised that my unpotted Seths never showed any signs of microphonic squeal, even on extreme gain settings. They definitely excell on AC/DC, Bad Co., and Zeppelin type sounds, but can also get into the metal territory with the right amp.
