Thinking about big rails.......and other High Output pups

I am thinking for my peavey project I might want some rails of some type. In a full sized bucker I know the only one that Duncan makes is dimebucker. Maybe a custom order? Or maybe something from SK? I'm wanting fairly high output and was originally going for ceramic...and lots of it, but am also considering a CC. I'd like to get some blue pups if I go for something with polepieces to match my paint! :)

Anyways can any of you rails veterans tell me the pros of them?

The guitar is a poplar body (possibly ash I'm no expert) maple neck and fingerboard.

Well, the El Diablo Scott Ian pickup has rails, but it's custom shop only.

I'd love to see a Distortion Rails if you go custom. But the Dimebucker might be your best bet as far as bang for the buck.

Here is what I would do if you want rails and dont want the dimebucker or the custom shop pickups. I would go with the Bill Lawrence (www.billlawrence.com) XL-500 and your choice of Bill Lawrence neck position. Either the L,R,C. Depending on what you want for tone in the neck. They are outstanding pickups and very versatile!! They do anything from all out metal to pop and do it very well. They are not one trick ponies!!
