Thinking About Getting A Power Stage 170, Anyone Try One???

So I spent the weekend taking down my wall of amplifiers & apart from one of them they are now all in storage. The reason for this great migration is my son....

He's 6 & 1/2 months old, very capable in his walker, & quite possibly possessed by Satan!!! LOL, he's in that stage where he's pretty much figured out his hands so the only time he's not grabbing something is when he's banging on it with something else!!!

Mostly I was just worried that I'd turn my head for a sec. & he'd be pulling something down on top of himself or chewing on a wire but I won't lie, it's kinda nice not having to worry about trying to clean brest milk vomit from the tube sockets of my rather expensive collection of amplifiers....

Mostly I'm just interested in people's impressions of them & if you think it would make a good round the house practice amp. I've got a couple speaker cabinets that are pretty innocuous on their own & I wouldn't be too heartbroken if they were to get damaged in some way.

Plus they make great end tables once you throw a cover on them, LOL!!!

Well, I have tried one before, but if your son is great at grabbing things, he might want to twist the knobs on one, expecially if it is on a pedalboard. Honestly, they are loud enough for all except the most extreme gigging situations, so the only thing you'd need is some sort of preamp pedal or modeler going into it. It is a really cool product, and it sounds just as good going through a full range cab with a modeler as with a preamp pedal into a regular guitar amp.

I keep my pedalboard picked up off the ground when I'm not using it so I shouldn't have to worry about that, @ least not until he starts climbing stuff in a month or so?

F@#$ me... I'm too old for more babbies!!! I keep telling him this, he doesn't seem to care much though? When I tried putting him back I just couldn't seem to get him to fit & you should have seen the look on my wife's face!!!

LOL!!!!
