thinking about upgrading to a japanese ESP

From my EC-1000 to an Eclipse II. Those who own ESP japan guitars, let me know if the upgrade is worthwhile because it's double the price.

That is a tough question b/c I have never really played LTD stuff. I will say that every ESP (Japan made) I have ever played has been built pretty damn solid. I had a ESP strat copy, a Lynch Skull and Snakes and still own an M-II custom shop. I have liked every one I have ever played and regret selling them all....

ESP from Japan is great.
Had a couple of Navigators and my Kramer American is also made by ESP.

what? i though you just received the EC-1000. you dun like it already?

technically I've owned it over a year now. I just went through a couple of them due to damage by ups and the original which developed a truss rod problem.
