There is no room for a battery.....and it would die in 15-20 min tops...

The colour will be close to the red Vox used on the faceplate for the controls....there are bizarre names enough out there....plus the name has attracted a few jokes at work since the big version came out;)

Sounded great Niels, thick and rich... and great demo as always. However ref the Brown colour.... CMATMODS already makes a Brown OD pedal that is called..... wait for it.... BROWNIE! ha ha

There is a cost at maintaining +-12v on the inside with only 9v as powersupply, the pedal will need about 80-100 mA as well........

I like the new design. It looks much better than the vintage series. I won't talk about the version 1 which were very ugly and something I dislike about the version 2 was the knob's label was on top, which makes it difficult to read.
Some cool graphic helps too, it needs to be different than the rest ya know? ;)
When this new pedal will be release?

Personally I do not give a flying crap about design with our stuff....not my headache....we never get our ideas through anyways.....so why bother??!

But there would be some different things if it was me who made those!!
I like simple and functional, plus I dig specialised colours:)

I like everything about that pedal. The compression is part of its beauty. Love the color.

That 9v AC-Tone sounds very good. Tried it yesterday... Can go from fuzzy top, to a good bit of Brian May. Very cool and responsive. Works well with Tele, Strat and what not.

If only it had room for a battery.








;)
 
I'll be getting one when they hit the streets for sure! Sounds like just what the Dr. ordered!

How will it sound through EL84? Is it meant to Voxify 6L6 amps, or really complement the EL84s, or both?

Puzzled by the current draw of this, I didn't think ODs were pulling that much?

It is not meant for anything but being an overdrive with a British flavour....some call it Vox and other bannanas and tomatos....:)
I wanted to make that slightly grandpa'ish drive into something more useful and fun....
Well now the small version PT got the grandpa treatment instead...doh :D O_o
