i finally got the courage to humbly ask you tone-gurus a question.
let me start by describing my previous and current setup
previous rig:
guitar-> erniball volume (normal out) -> boss ns2 =(in the loop)> crybaby (stock) -> ts9 -> OCD v3 -> EHX BMP=> boss ns2 -> amp input =(fx loop send)> RETURN of vox tonlab se L/mono out to fx loop return
the tuner out of the volume goes to the INPUT of the tonelab
current rig:
similar, only crybaby is FIRST in the chain before volume pedal
now my question:
when the crybaby is on, i found that the sweep got much wider especially in the top end which is great as long as i control myself and not ice-pick the front-row to death. however, i also noticed i got A LOT more high-end in my signal with the wah off. its a standard crybaby stock so i know its not true bypass...
why?
incase you needed to know, i do run the TLSE as a modeller
