Thoughts about taming a strat bridge pup

In the opposite direction, I bought an Ovation acoustic as a kid because Alex' Lifeson played them, but it was a bad fit all around for me.

So the moral to the story is, I need to play more guitars in diverse environments... which means I need to play more in general, so I like this thread very much

If your bridge pickup is too noisy, try a STK-S7. That pickup is not that far from an humbucker but still Straty, single-coliy and no-noise. In my swamp ash Strat copy it's a mix from heaven. Having your bridge pickup its own tone control is always a good thing in a Strat IMO.
