Thoughts? HSS Strat with all Screamin Demons.

I want to change up one of my strats. Mahogany body, Maple Neck. Currently has an EMG 60A and two EMG Crossroads single coils.

I am thinking of doing all Screamin Demons. Trembucker in the bridge, and two Lil Demons in the middle and neck. Thoughts?

Also if i go through with it, would the Lil Demon Bridge model be well suited in the middle position, with consideration to the output of the full size Demon in the bridge position?

I am also thinking of mag swapping the A5 for my favorite A4 in the bridge.

sounds like a fun setup. you could use either neck or bridge model in the middle depending on if you wanted a brighter or warmer tone

That would be a cool setup. I have a dual Screaming Demon setup and have done the same with a HS setup in the past. The 'Lil Screaming Demon sounds the closest to its big brother to my ears and in my experience with them.

I also might put an A4 in the regular Demon sometime in the future. That has been my favorite magnet to swap with.

I also will keep the EMG SPC I have installed for a mid boost.

Yeah, I agree with the neck in the middle.

It is an interesting idea...what led you to it?

I wanted something different for my HSS strat. Looking at all the single coil sized humbucker descriptions, the Lil screamin Demon is described to have a hint of glass.

And then I remembered having the full sized demon in my explorer when I first learned guitar 20 years ago. When the Alternative 8 humbucker came out (I got one of the first productions and still have it) I moved the demon to the neck position of my Les Paul.

I wanted humbuckers, and idea of having a hint of glass tone and it being a strat really appealed to me and I said why not.

I am considering going straight to an A4 because I remember the full size demon being a lot on the high end and I love A4 magnets.

That would be a killer setup–I really like the Screamin Demon in the neck position and had great luck with a Lil Screamin Demon in the middle of an HSH Strat.
