Thoughts on Kramer Aluminum Guitars?

I've always wanted an aluminum neck Kramer, and after an ungodly amount of time searching I've finally found one at a good price. It's a Kramer DMZ(DMZ line had DiMarzio pups) 1000 with a maple body. Anyone have any experience with aluminum neck Kramers? Any input on the weight?

I owned a kramer duke which had an aluminum neck

the only issue was big temperature changes, tuning was a little wonky til everything evened out
