Tight Fit

Just some picture candy for the sd. And a sd rail too. Looks nice in there but i am not certain if that will be the pickup i will use.:smokin:

Still working on the humbucker cavity. I am hoping it wont end in me having to use a pickup ring :pissed:

Very tight fit here.

Also artie is working on a diagram that will utilize the shadow humbucker and the ibanez preamp neck simulator. Its going to be hectic but if we can pull it off it will be the most versatile extended range guitar EVER!

Re: Tight Fit

Whats with the chipout on the last bit of fretboard?? Both sides no less

:smack:i ****ed up. Cut too much off initially. What i am most worried about is hammering a fret in there. I thought i would cut the tangs completely off then just glue it in. Also i have that bit of wood to glue back on. So far if thats the only **** up i made i think i am doing pretty well.

Re: Tight Fit

Maybe file the barbs off.

Yeah thats what i was thinking sorry. If i leave them on it will just chip that edge right off. As you can see i didn't have that much room to work with. i needed some room between the bridge and pup.

Re: Tight Fit

I have a heap to squeeze into this cavity. otax 5way, preamp pcb. 9v battery, 1v 1t and 2 mini toggles.

Later this week i need to cut in the slot for the switch, I havent actually done that before so i am a tad worried. I did make a switch cover out of maple and that went well so i am quietly confident.

Cavity needs to be wider as you can see and also i will have to drill the hole for the jack in Yamaha style cutaway.
