3 wy toggle is turned on my Soltero. Was loose, but I tightened it, but now its not straight.. I cant get my fingers in the cavity to hold it in place while I tighten without fear of breaking wires or solder joints. Any tips on how to keep one stable as you tighten?? Thanks

Never had to use a tool and cant ever recall breaking a wire but I'm sure it could happen. I snug the ring/nut topside with the toggle close to the position in which I want it, then hold the ring/nut up top (with fingers) and tighten by grabbing sides of the toggle switch inside the cavity with thumb and forefinger and snug it into position. Sometimes you have to experiment with how tight to initially get the exterior nut/ring in order for the toggle to end up where you want it when you tighten it. Sometimes I use a large lock ring inside the cavity, sometimes not. Just depends on whether it holds tight without it or not. I don't know any other way other than getting your fingers or a tool on the toggle.

I just hold the toggle in either the bridge or neck position while turning the nut.

just to clarify, I usually use needle nose pliers to turn the ring on front and either hold the box in the back with either my fingers or reg pliers. But due to the smaller hole, cant get the fingers in there and due to where the wires are, and the smaller hole (I LIKE a tight hole,but not in this case.... heh heh) Im worried about breaking wires if I grab with pliers. that's why Im asking.
