TIP: the solution to not having enough pup lead

Don't cut any off at all! Loop it around the outside of your control cavity, or whatever you have to do, and keep it long.

That way you'll never have the problem of a pup with a short lead when swapping into another guitar, and if everyone did this, you wouldn't have to worry about ti when trading either.

Thats exactly what i do...on a pickguard i just wrap it around the underide of the pickup and tape it to the pickguard

same here

with les paul's and solid body's i coil it up and put a small twisty on it to keep order in there
