Tobacco burst LP....pickup covers??

Thinking about changing out my pickups on my tobacco burst LP. Pickup rings are black and the knobs are black.

1. Go with nickel covers again??

2. If no covers.....black??(might be too much black)....Zebra??

You guys did so well in helping me with my strat pickguards so I'm asking again!!

Thanks for any input.

IMO, covers always look classy in a LP.

If you really wanna chance, I'd go with zebra... I really didn't like zebra at first but they really grew on me with time and now I'd rather have zebra than double black....

gold speed knobs
cream rings
aged covered pups or cream zebras

My preferred look for a paul is amber tophats..nickel covers, creme rings and creme pg...

I always prefer nickel covers, but I like double creams and zebras too...

with Black pup rings & knobs.....hmm...prolly zebra...some compare and contrast....

All great suggestions. I will probably get the cream pickup rings. May change the knobs too. Hmmm. Keep 'em coming!

Cream rings and double black pickups...or get swinesheads and match the fretboard wood!

OK, I think you've hit on a good point mn. If I change the rings to cream and the knobs to gold, then the black would work well I think. Man, too many choices!

Matter of fact, I just checked out Slash's LP close up. Looks pretty killer and the wood grain is very similar to mine.

or have both covered and open HBs ala JP. currently i have a covered neck(antiquity neck w/ full strenght A2) and an open bridge (seth lover double cream) on my LP.

It's a Vintage Burst Matt. It's my new one I bought a week or so ago. It should be here in a few days.:)

Man, you guys are killin' me! Those zebra's look really good too. I know the covers do look classy too. Decisions!
