After several months of waiting, she finally arrived yesterday perfect timing for the blues jam I go each week. First new electric guitar purchase in more than 6 years...
Of course the wife had no idea I bought it and when the UPS man came and was at the door I said: "Look what you got me for Father's Day Honey!" Thanks! Luckily she was a good sport about it...
It 's purple, dual humbucker, with Indian Rosewood neck and gold harwdware with Buzz Feiten tuning system (I'll post some pics soon...)
All I have to say is WOW! After playing my only other electric - a 2001 AM Strat w/EMG's that needs a fret job and is pretty beat-up with about 7 years of playing on it this piece of art is a real treat! Tom say's his guitar's a re designed tp "play like butter" and man this thing does!
I had been complaining about the lack of headroom with my Dr. Z Maz 18 Jr. 1x12 NR, but with this guitar there was PLENTY of it! Tone was just gushing....
Nothing like the feeling of playing on a well-crafted instrument...took me a long time to get one... (Did own a green Valley Arts Strat once though - bough in '92 sold in '93)
Hat's of to Tom and his workers for superb quality and craftmanship!
