Tom Anderson Cobra S arrives!

Re: Tom Anderson Cobra S arrives!

Sweet guitar. I like Tom Andersons a lot more, now that they offer standard electronics layouts. I always thought the switcheroo mini switches were overkill. The way yours is laid out is best.

I've always thought it was ironic that a craftsman like Anderson would be a fan of setting guitars against things, on the 2 strap buttons. My US Schecter tele is a descendant of Anderson, so it also has 3 strap buttons.
I've found that it's very useful for changing the way the guitar hangs. If I'm sitting down, or want the guitar higher, I use the lower strap button. Regularly, I keep the strap on the upper button.

How does the H2+ sound?? could you give a mini review on the pickups??

That would be nice, if you wish! Take your time too...It takes me two weeks minimum for my ears to adjust, with most tones found within a couple of months.

I love my H1 in the necks! It measured a mild 6.3K in un-installed/standard humbucker wired...and sounds awesome split! It sounds so good in the two guitars I've tried it in...I would like to try an H1-.

I can see why some people won't like the switcheroo system since it's a lot of switches that do a lot of different things. I for one love mine. It's one of the most versitile wiring configurations I've ever seen on a guitar.

The only thing I don't do is switch it between series and parallel. I run it all in series with split functionality.

Switcheroo is the most versatile & easy way to switch between pickups. Much more versatile than Fender's S-1 and Kinman's/Fralin's blend pot. With a flick of the switch you are back at the bridge!

My leather strat has three holes for strap buttons. Personally if i had a guitar with 3 buttons, I would use all three and adjust the strap length accordingly.
