tone caps question!

so i have no idea where this thread should go for starters but i figure it might as well go here. anyway im rewireing some of my guitars soon (Hardluck kings lady luck and Harley benton SC 450 plus) and i will be giving them tone pots i usually bypass them but i figure they could be differnt then my other guitars. that being said i have NO IDEA the differnce between tone caps im currently lookin at these:

https://www.dragonfireguitars.com/S...Style-Tone-Cap-Audio-Tone-Capacitor-20046.htm

dont know the difference or what to expect i was lookin at those because the rest of my parts are probably coming from there but im open to other cheaper/better sounding suggestions at other sites.

P.S. i was thinking of wireing my Harley benton like this:

Re: tone caps question!

Both are quality materials. 47nf is for dark tone and 22nf is for medium tone.

Re: tone caps question!

You can tweak values for position. As the tone circuit still has minor effects on 10 you can use the cap to say make the neck posi a bit brighter by say using a .001 or even .0001, which I've done before as the neck for me never goes off 10.
Then for the bridge the .047uF or .033 is widely used by people who tweak values to remove treble......as well as higher values like .068 or even .1 if the guitar is quite bright
