Hi,

Here are parts I use to swap the big Nashville to the ABR '59 bridge

New ABR '59 bridge , this is a great upgrade for sound, sustain and feeling.

What a cool vintage look :

Did the posts just drop right into the old ones? Or were there power tools involved?

Faber is the bomb, though I prefer the threaded conversion posts.

You use the bolt to remove the nashville bushing and there may be a slight drill job to deepen the hole as the faber conversion posts are longer than most gibson bushings.

Also there are simple conversion posts that thread directly into the gibson nashville bushings as F73 mentioned.

I like the Faber US stuff as well. Is my memory off, or are the saddle adjustment screws supposed to face rearward, towards the tailpiece? That is a damn sharp looking SG. The first one in quite a while that made me think that I really need to get one. Is that a 2012 Standard?

The bridge studs are very well fixed into the body, the result is the same than Gibson ABR-1 bridge with posts screwed into the body

Compare Nashville brushing (left) and ABR '59 bridge studs (right)

Yes, this is a 2012 SG Standard Ltd Edition. The saddles are in the same position than Gibson ABR-1 ones, perfect.

PS:
It' s possible to install the ABR '59 bridge on Nashville studs and brushings for a Gibson ABR-1 vintage look.

+1 for conversion posts. I have a set on my 2001 LP Standard Plus.

Intonation screws on a Nashville bridge should face toward the tailpiece, but the screws on an ABR-1 should face toward the neck.
