Tone related question (name this amp)

Hey guys. I recently heard a clip on the www.gibsoncustom.com website that I am in love with. You can hear the clip here:

http://www.gibsoncustom.com/flash/products/lespauls/56/1956Goldtop.html

The site doesn't make any references to specific amps, speakers or mics used, and there's no contact information for me to ask, so I figured I'd open this up to you guys. What amp, speaker and mic does this clip sound like? This is pretty much the p-90 tone by which I judge all other p-90s tones, so I would love a little input. Thanks guys.

Sounds like a Twin to me (sort of). But it could be one of any number of amps.

Re: Tone related question (name this amp)

Not to bash ya man, but go to the music store and mess around with the amps and see what you like. You can go around trying to capture other tones as long as you want, but wouldn't you be happiest with the one you like the best rather than the one that whoever you're trying to emulate likes? I can get Trey Anastasio's tone with a Dave Murray (Iron Maiden) signature strat, a marshall, and a compressor. If you have that goldtop, go play it through some amps and see what sounds good. Amps and stuff don't really matter much, it's the guitar and the pickups IMO. Simple advice.
