Toneport & Addictive Drums track

Re: Toneport & Addictive Drums track

Okay...
The snare have to be changed ,and the bassdrum needs some tightness :D
The guitar tone has uncomfortable high freqs ,but the tone character is good and fitts the style..
Your voice is top as ever ,and the concept is typically you which rocks.

Re: Toneport & Addictive Drums track

Sounds to me like you're not that far off from being finished with this one. Great work, and I too am a fan of the vocals.

Re: Toneport & Addictive Drums track

I like the bassdrum:D
Tight gets on my nerves in the long run....;)
Guitars sounds airy and I tend to agree with the Frier from Germany;)
cool vocals!!

Hahahahaha:friday:
Man I wouldn't like to have a tight bassdrum on this song. But it's too "woofy" for my ears hehehe...

His magic formula is "I'm Alive"...Just keep that and you're good man!

Re: Toneport & Addictive Drums track

I would TRY to give some advice, but I hear U2 in it too much so anything I tried to add would just end up taking you that direction.

Re: Toneport & Addictive Drums track

The friar from Germany is now a French Frier! :chairfall

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I agree it's too much U2, I'll have to see what I can do to take away from that a bit. I'll work on the drums and guitars and finish the vocals and re-post it.

Re: Toneport & Addictive Drums track

sounds cool. vox might be a bit loud, but maybe not for that genre.

Re: Toneport & Addictive Drums track

Thanks for the listen. Yah, DankStar agreed. I'm working on it today.

a lot of it is personal taste I think. I had some loud vox on a tune and I checked it against some heavy stuff and mine were indeed too loud; checked it against Bon Jovi 'cause I know glam likes loud vocals, and sure enough, it was OK. guess it depends on what you want emphasis on.

I remember a quote from some famous producer that was something like "you never hear of anyone complaining the vocals are too loud in pop music."

Maybe he was right.
