Bump, I need advice on this, if I use this and put on the treble bleed which I think I'll like on the neck pu, but will I lose the snappy response of the vintage bridge pu?
There are 7 different Toneshaper kits for Teles. You need to know which one you've got. They are just wiring kits, but if you've got one intended for humbuckers and you put it on singles, it may get really bright. You need to know what kit you have.
you an try the treble bleed, i dont like em usually, but the nice thing about a tele is you dont have to pull the strings off to get at the wiring. two screws and the plates off again!

That kit just looks like a 4-way switch with a treble bleed. It wouldn't do much to change the tone of the guitar in the first three positions other than allowing you to retain highs while turning down the volume. Which would accentuate twang not diminish it. The fourth position would be the neck/bridge together in series which is a dark and thick sound.
