Too much Strat Quack?

My Strat had a set of DiMarzio Areas. Played only in position 2 and 4. Wanted to try something new so I dropped in a pre-wired 920D super switch with a Suhr Thornbucker+ and my neck/middle DiMarzio. Love the Thornbucker, love the bridge/middle (same as before) but not liking the Thornbucker split and middle DiMarzio. The 920D has 500k pot that goes to 250k on the single coil. It goes way to thin. Wanted to know if any way to correct it?

Are you sure it's not out of phase? Sounds like a classic case, especially since you have pickups of two different manufacturers.

Try to swap the wires of one of the pickup.

Was wondering if this is what it is? Just never dealt with it. Not real positive on switching the wires. The Dimarzio pickups only have the Green and Black coming out, the Red/White are wired together. So switch the Green and Black?

Re: Too much Strat Quack?

Nevermind! Found an out of phase thread that discusses switching the green and black. Stumbled upon this board a couple months ago. Amazed at how much I have learned from it.
