I'm getting the caps replaced on my Simms Watts 100, and snapped a few pics of the internals with my phone. These are incredible amps made in England in 1970 for only one year. No PC boards to be found!

VERY COOL!

I always wanted a Simms Watt amp...I've never even seen one for sale!


I passed on one locally for 295.00 6 yrs ago, along with a WEST cab for 195.00 around that same time, those are two of my greatest gear regrets...

Very cool! It looks like an early version of what Matamp calls turret track. My Electrics are similar only they don't use the track, they use strips mounted to the chassis and those hold the turrets.

That looks like a very conscientious wiring job for sure. :cool2:
