Nice list!

I'd say the intro to Van Halen - Aint Talkin Bout Love is a pretty easy riff that sounds awesome too.

For sure! It's one of those riffs (and guitar players) that is instantly recognizable within a couple of notes!

Yeah it's a skill all of it's own! Something like Still of the Night by Whitesnake is a great example of a simple yet awesome 80s riff.

Your tag about attenuators made me laugh lol.
