I had to post this and rub it in a little bit. Tomorrow I am butching a 1600 pound steer that has been grass raised and then corn& barley fed for the last 4 months on grain we raised. I can already taste the ribeyes and prime rib, porter house, T bone, I had better stop I am making my self hungry.

All right I will trade beef for guitars, amps, pups, real estate, pretty muck\h any thing of value. HA HA HA  :laugh2: :bsflag:

How about a pound of stock ibanez pickups for a pound of ribeye? ;)

Heh, I don't eat red meat anymore. The fact that we won't know how many people are affected by mad cow for 30-50 years still scares me. It takes that long for the disease to develop to where your brain starts melting. But aside from that, I find it to be bad for your health still.

But I must admit, doesn't sound bad.

Re: Trade that will leave your mouth watering

My bro and I just bought a 1/4 this fall.

To my fellow forum bros:

Home grown beef/produce is so much better than those baseball mits they call steaks at the store.

When we're low, I'll call you!

Re: Trade that will leave your mouth watering

Im Mexican so I will take the meat from the stomach, tripe, head, tounge, and possibly other parts as well.

I'll trade Gibson 498/490's for about $80 worth of Top Sirloin. I'll trade you a DiMarzio for the eyeballs, tripe, and brains, so you can feed our forum bro, davidd. hahahaha

Re: Trade that will leave your mouth watering

The nice thing about raising your own beef is you don't have to worry about what some
one else fed it. I am not worried about ever getting BSE because we feed it all ourselves and I don't eat the brain or any of that other stuff.

The skull and horns are going on the front of my suburban. That would look like one bad ass Mad Cow.
