Full review to follow....gimme a few days.

So far this thing is like someone threw my old Marshal JMP into a blender with a modern high gain Peavey. It is a wonderful tone. Not quite as thick and liquid as my (now gone) JMP, maybe a bit more harsh, but much more metal and much more versatile.

I'm diggin' it. :cool2:

swap those pre-amp JJs, it'll get rid of the harshness:fing2:
and cool score on the windsor!

I haven't actually pulled the cover off and looked at the pre tubes. The power tubes are Ruby tubes. What do the amps come with in the power section usually?

i've got those too, and i got mine in sept. '07. they're not bad, but there are better tubes out there.

I don't know how I feel about your trade, but I am glad you like the new amp. I wasn't thrilled about the windsor compared to the 30, as I felt it had no personality or character, but that is most likely just me.

Let us know what you think after opening the volume knob up a bit.
