Treble Bleed mod for JB/59

I am using a Schecter Blackjack with JB and 59 pickups, single volume and tone knobs, and I have noticed that the guitar becomes very dark and muddy when I roll down the volume. Does anyone have a reccomendation for cap and resistor values for a treble bleed mod with a 500K volume pot? I don't want the guitar to get brighter as I turn it down, but it would be great to significantly reduce the amount of treble loss. I was thinking a 150ohm resistor and a .001 orange drop in parallel but I would like to get some input before I start taking my guitar apart.

The size of the pot doesn't seem to matter as much as the size of the pickup.

Here's the wring diagram - Link and it uses 100k and a .002

And from Acme Guitar Works, they say - "The values are 680pF/220K (single coils) and 1000pF/220K (humbuckers). " Link

I've used the Acme kits and I like them - but as they say, you can go to your local electronics store and get the same stuff for less - I'm lazy I guess.
