Treble Bleed Mod for neck Pickup?

Depending on the way your guitar is wired and the pu's you have installed , your Tone may get muddy as you turn down your volume and you will strat to lose the highs. This is due to your patch cord acting as a filter. The treble bleed kits will keep your tone crisp at any volume level.

Especially on Les pauls with modern wiring. (cap connects to pu leads) The 50's wiring (cap connects to switch leads) is more open and a does not have the muddy problems of the modern wiring. Sometimes Tele's will get muddy when you are using the neck pu and roll back the volume.

Cap shown in diagram is .002 with a 100K resistor, I have used .001 caps and 75k resistors with good results as well. IMO These treble bleed kits are not needed on all guitars but can solve some muddiness issues and come in handy if you are trying to play at lower volume and still want to maintain your Tone.
