Treble Bleed on buckers; vol. knobs works different.

I did a treble bleed mod on my PG pups, now the vol. knobs do not work as the same. There is not as much vol. differnce from 5 up to 10. In other words, 5 is just as loud as 10. Any opinions?

From my experiences, once those treble bleed circuits are installed, the dialing of the volume pots are always erratic to one degree or the other.

This can happen when the value of the treble bleed capacitor is too large - it passes more than just the treble frequencies. What value cap are you using?

The Kinman mod is best: 130k resistor in series with .001uf cap across non-ground lugs.
