Treble Boosters are awesome :)

I scored a purple H.B.E. Germania. Non OC44 version. Got a good deal so decided to try... Especially after a few beers watching Sabbath on Netflix lol.

I love how they are like adding a good condiment to a good burger... Adds a flavor but doesn't take it away and enhances the sound.

I love my fulldrive, but listening back to recordings, I started noticing too much of a change when I step on it and I also don't dig the lack of dynamics on a TS circuit.

Sorry for the long post, but I just wanted to share, especially since I'm a higher gain riff type... Treble Boosters work!

Re: Treble Boosters are awesome :)

Once you start getting different boosts and see how versatile they are, you will never switch back to overdrive again. :)

I love them. The Screaming Bird is a good one for not too much money. It both amps the treble and cuts the bass, making it a very effective "anti-mud" pedal when used in the lower part of its range. Very helpful with a Les Paul with humbuckers. I love mine, though I added a switch that lets me choose between two sets of cap values. Rather, the switch places added caps in parallel with the stock caps, for increased capacitance (a more subtle boost that affects different frequencies).

I love the dynamics. I hate having to run back to my bored to hit a switch to clean up... My volume knobs are my friend.
