Trembucker mounting screw size?

Hi. I'm re using a TB-4 which i've had in a drawer for years. I can only find one of the long mounting screws that originally came with it.

Can anyone tell me the correct screw gauge so i can order a replacement. These are smaller than a normal humbucker screw.

I've looked around the Internet for this info, and I've come up empty. I'm in the UK, and not to familiar with imperial (inch) sizes for machine screws. As you probably know, most stuff is metric over here.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Simon.

I am sure they are standard size... I have a JB Trembucker. I first used it with the original Duncan screws that came in the Duncan Package box. Later I moved the pickup to another guitar and used the stock screws of that guitar.

According to Stewart MacDonald they are 3-48 x 1.25" long. The first number is the screw size and the second number is the threads per inch.
How could you not be familiar with inches? You guys invented them! LOL. Just joking with you. Hope this helps.

Hey, thanks for the info.

Looks like it's my bad. I've got a bunch of tele/strat sized screws, but only one that fits the humbucker.

I shall get some ordered.

I had a different experience. When I opened my new TB-6 it came with flathead screws. I wanted Philips head screws so I dug some out of my tool box. These didn't fit the TB-6 baseplate, but the included flathead screws did.
