trembucker vs. regular-spaced humbucker for PRS tremolo guitar?

I've got a PRS Santana SE with the tremolo bridge (not the stoptail piece). I've already decided to put a SH-14 Custom 5 in the bridge position but am unsure whether to choose the regular-spaced humbucker version or the trembucker version.

To me, it seems that the trembucker is really only for Floyd Rose style bridges (or anyone that wants to do heavy dive-domb stuff), and that it accounts for string movement in these cases.

Would installing a regular-spaced humbucker on a traditional PRS tremolo guitar make any real difference? I will hardly be using the vibrato arm, but will be doing a lot of string bends.

Any difference in sound between the two humbuckers?

Also, I figure it would be useful to just go with the regular-spaced humbucker b/c it could be used on other humbucking guitars with stoptail pieces later on (Les Paul, SG, PRS etc.).

Thanks for any input.

depends on your string spacing actualy.. I have fixed bridge but use a JB trembuker.. because of the wide string spacing...toanly speaking you wont find any diff in tone.. I say measure the distance between both E s

On my CU24 the low E-D poles are off. The low E isn't quite as present, but it isn't "really big deal". I had a non Tremspaced CS hybrid in it, and when I ordered my "78" I got a tremspaced model.
