Is it just me, or is the hole for the bridge humbucker on a fender HSS pickguard a little off, for a trembucker? I got this thing to fit, but just barely. I think if raise it any further, it'll start pushing the black tape down...
Re: trembuckers and the odd hole in a fender HSS pickguard
Go to the toy section at walmartvor target and look where the plasic models are. Get some hobby sandpaper. Get it wet and gently sand down the outside of the hole in the pickguard. Start with the heaviest grit to size it thrn a finer one to clean it up. Perfect fit

+1 What dotsdad said. I used a huge flat file with a very fine cut, and used a very very fine rat tail file on the 4 corners, then used 600 grit sandpaper to finish up.
Just like dotsdad did only a little more OCD about it. I have too much time on my hands.

Wanted to add quick, make sure you file or sand STRAIGHT down if you pickgaurd is layered or it will show.
Double stick sandpaper to a flat hard piece of wood so there are no wobbles.

DEFINITELY, use a file (flat and round, like Steve said) if you want a good looking end product. If you want it to look like a mouse has been chewing on it, then just use sandpaper.
