I found some pics on the site....Packaging! This means it's wayyyyy close. I guess post NAMM orders. This is going to rule. Tested in a few of my guitars....love it!

Re: Tremol-No is on the way...

We've had a couple guys give very in-depth reviews over on the SS.org forums ;). Looks to be an insane product, if you have a floyded axe.

Re: Tremol-No is on the way...

i'm all over that for my iron maiden strat when they ship!!!

i'm gonna stay abreast on the matter.

Re: Tremol-No is on the way...

Not only for Floyded guitars my friends....I tested/ reviewed this in one of my EBMMs and my 7 string. I wish I had my Silo at home at the time Kevan sent me one (had to send it back since it was going to a magazine for review). There are guys that have test units in vintage strats for instance, it may seem redundant but it's not. Really is a great product and it doesn't impede the bar function when it's set in fully floating mode...

Check Kevan's website for more info...

Re: Tremol-No is on the way...

I have a RGT42 Ibanez and this guitar is by far the hardest guitar to tune and keep in tune of any guitar I've owned - will this help with that? I never use the Tremolo. I just bought the guitar on a wim, now I wish I had a fixed bridge.

Re: Tremol-No is on the way...

Why would you want to install dirkson's that requires drilling and possible routing, where you can use the Tremol-No and just have to swap out claws? No Mods...No Mess...No affecting the resale value...

Has anybody tried this one?

Seems like a variation on a theme...
Dunno about the dirksons product but the guy behind it, uh, lacks personal skills.

I've had a number of conversations with Kevan and he's gone to a lot of effort to ensure that the T-no is a quality product. In addition to the saga that was the licensing process, he went to quite a bit of effort to find a factory that would build it to the specs he desired.

I'll be getting one for each of my trem-equipped PRS guitars as well as my Driskills. :headbang:

'Cause it'll be dropped into my '93 Hamer with a Schaller Floyd. In addition to having no resale because it's a 24-fret reverse headstock shread machine I've drilled holes for mini-switches, swapped out the original pickups for Duncans, added holes for a Hipshot trem-set, added another one or two when I blocked the trem for a couple three years and I'm on bridge plate #2 after the first one stripped and the knife edges on #2 are shot...so like...'ya know...it's got ZERO resale value from all the hacking & years of wear but I love that thing. I'm just interested in knowing what the better product is functionally.

And FWIW...All Parts is usually WAY better then Wrong Dimensions.

Except for the fact that it wasn't designed by AllParts...

Tremol-no.com...send an email to Kevan and he'll set you straight.

I guess you'll enjoy busting out that #24 aircraft bit to install the dircksons... like I said why would you want to simply replace the claw and adjust the receiver and clamp on the T-No? Dude it takes like 20 minutes to install and set back up. Beside that if you look at Dirkson's product there's a ton of parts. Tremol-No = simple AND effective.

Then again I've used it, and you've obviously just read about the Dircksons so wtf do I know?

WTF do I know either? I've just looked at pictures of both! LOL

Nah man...I'll probably get the Trem-No but still...just curious about the other one before I take a plunge. I remember when the Hipshot came out & people were ragin' about like it was the "be-all end-all" but in practice it left a LOT to desire IMO.

All Parts translates into "sometimes will fit application" in my experience with the company.

Not the case on this. I've had a few conversations with the creator of it; All-parts just distrubets/mass produces it.

May I ask why you would like to use the Tremol-No on the PRS trems?
Because I sometimes want to block/lock the trem but not permanently. There are some songs my band plays where I need the wiggle stick while others suffer where my oblique bends are off because the non-bent strings go flat and with some fingerings it's hard to compensate. The T-No would allow me to lock down the trem for those song so I wouldn't have to switch to a non-trem guitar. Though I have a Variax 300 and another non-trem guitar on order, all the "good stuff" has floating trems.
