Tremoverb on CL

Re: Tremoverb on CL

^ Cause Metallica was Dual recto, and the Tremoverb doesnt have the stones of the Dual rectifier;I was gonna post Metallica Master of Puppets live, but they put the kabash on it.

Tremoverb Dual Recs are killer amps - probably my favorite Boogie ever. I regret selling mine. :(

Re: Tremoverb on CL

glad I chose not to tolex my cab, it probably would have come out like that 4 x 12. yikes.

what's jerry going on about - it says dual rectifier on it.

Yeah, that tolex job didn't work out.

Tremoverbs are pretty much a Dual Rectifier with tremolo, reverb, and a more versatile clean channel.
Back when they came out, I scored a used 212 combo in cream/wheat grill. It was a pretty nice amp, but just not my sound, so I passed it along.

That's pretty much it.

They're not everyone's sound, but MAN what a sound!!

If I could get mine back I'd probably have someone go through the circuits to clean up the noise floor and improve the effects loop. Overall one of the best amps to come out of the 90's though.

I love my Roadster. The idea of using tremolo intrigues me but I just can't ever seem to find a good use for it.

I've been thinking about that one myself, but I have too many amps as it is.

I really like the Tremoverb. Amazing versatility. Lindsay Buckingham uses a pair with Fleetwood Mac; I thought his live tone was fantastic the last time I saw him.

That was one of the better Mesa amps I've played through although it was an incredibly stiff playing amp. I'd love to A/B it with something more modern like the 5:50 Express +.

In terms of tone, I always thought Mike Einziger from Incubus got on pretty well with them; he was always the first person I'd think of when I think of that amp and what it could do.
