1968 modified Fender Silverface Vibro Champ (Mercury Magnetics 57 Champ OT, 10 inch 4 Ohm Peavey Scorpion)
Replaced 6V6 with an NOS 5881
Installed a Y RCA adapter into speaker jack
Plugged speaker plug into one side of the Y adapter
Plugged RCA to 1/4 inch phone speaker cable into the other side of the Y adapter
Plugged 1/4 phone plug side of the speaker cable into the Quantum 4X6 cab

Quantum cab has 3 vintage Alnico speakers and 1 Eminence Ceramic speaker (Each 4 Ohms) wired series/parallel for 4 Ohms
Peavey Scorpion and Quantum cab connected in parallel meter reads 2.6 Ohms
The 4 Ohm output transformer with the 5881 vacuum tube requires a 2 Ohm load

The amp sounds amazing with a huge amount of headroom.

ive plugged my 5f2a tweed princeton clone into a 2x12 v30/g12h cab and boy does it sound great!. im sure running all those speakers sounds awesome. im sure the 5881 is a nice change too!

Speakers always have a great effect. Way more headroom with the 5881.
