Triple-Shot Solderless

Hi, everybody.

So, I've proven time and again that I suck at soldering.

Has anybody tried to do the Triple-Shot solderlessly? Or is SD going to come up with a solderless solution?

Thanks

I'm getting ready to purchase an Obsidian for a Lester of mine.

+1 for Obsidian. I've also been happy with an SG one from Mojotone. Both use really good components.
I couldn't find a good video review on Mojotone. As good or better than Obsidian?

Re: Triple-Shot Solderless

I don't know if one is any better than the other. There's no big circuit board on the Mojo though, if you care about that sort of thing. It's basically a normal harness with the plug for the pickup connectors wired in.

They both work great, and swapping pickups is an absolute breeze. You spend more time on the various screws than you do with the wiring.

Thanks for the replies, but I guess I wasn't clear enough.

I'm talking about wiring the pickup to the triple shot, not wiring to the pots and such.

Re: Triple-Shot Solderless

Gotcha. For that, you will have to solder. There isn't enough space for clamps like the Liberator has. Other companies might make something that does something similar, with DIP switches inside.

Re: Triple-Shot Solderless

Well, like I said, there might be a company that does that with DIP switches, but I haven't heard of anyone doing that with Triple Shots. I think by the time you track down some way to do it, you could just solder it.

Re: Triple-Shot Solderless

I just bought an Obsidianwire blender circuit for my strat. Haven't put it in yet. I will report back when I do. Appears to be very high quality. I was going to replace the entire circuit anyway, so this was attractive.
